Chrishell Stause describes her departure from Dancing With The Stars as ‘heartbreaking’: ‘I definitely wasn’t ready to leave the show’

Chrishell Stause admits her Dancing With The Stars exit was ‘heartbreaking.’

The 39-year-old TV star was recently eliminated from the show, and now she has revealed her early departure still feels a bit ‘surreal.’

‘I was really hoping for the best, but I saw the writing on the wall as soon as it was me, Nev [Schulman] and Skai [Jackson] left on ballroom floor,’ said Stause, who starred on the series alongside Gleb Savchenko. ‘It felt a bit surreal because you are never really prepared to go home in this process. It was heartbreaking to have it end.’

An unfortunate exit: Chrishell Stause stated that her Dancing With The Stars exit was ‘heartbreaking,’ seen on November 2

The beauty added, she was also crushed because she had a fun week planned for Musical Icons night.

‘We were really proud of our Viennese Waltz, so even though it was the end we really felt like we left it all out on the floor,’ said the star.

‘Even though there have always been far better dancers, I always knew that heart counts for a big part in this competition, and I would never give up.’

Stause also said: ‘It kind of feels like when camp is over. I hope we all stay in touch, because it really does bond you.’

Chrishell also revealed that competing on the show has taught her an important lesson.

The Selling Sunset star said: ‘The biggest lesson I’ve learned about myself is just because you don’t know how to do something, doesn’t mean you can’t. It just means you haven’t learned how to yet.

‘I definitely wasn’t ready to leave the show, but I am sure my clients will be secretly happy about it. It is back to work for me!’

The Kentucky native split from her husband Justin Hartley in 2019 after getting married in 2017.
