Former Miss Universe Australia Francesca Hung started working for E! Australia late last year, after Ksenija Lukich departed the network.
And on Tuesday, Francesca, 26, spoke to Daily Mail Australia about her first year in the job and what it’s been like working for E! during the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking at the G.H. Mumm Champagne Melbourne Cup event in Sydney, Francesca also spoke about her close bond with Ksenija, 30.

‘I literally started in November/December last year, headed to New York and Los Angeles, that was amazing and then by February/March, with COVID, everything was shut down,’ Francesca said.
‘Literally my first year in the job. But it’s still been nice, I’ve learned so much and it’s been a quiet and gentle start for me.’
She added: ‘I might have been overwhelmed if it was full on so I’ve been very blessed.’

The brunette beauty said she’s been doing plenty of interviews over Zoom for E!
‘If I never have to see another Zoom interview, I’ll be a happy gal,’ she said with a laugh.
‘It’s been amazing though, we’ve been able to connect people all around Australia and overseas we probably wouldn’t have been able to interview in the past.’

‘I haven’t seen her… but we’ve messaged on Instagram,’ Francesca said.
‘She’s given me the “you’re doing a good job [message],” that sort of thing, she’s been so lovely.’
She sweetly finished: ‘She’s a big inspiration for me. If I can be half as good as her I’d be a happy gal.’
