Dancing On Ice’s Joe-Warren Plant is ‘gutted’ as past knee injury flares up after going ‘too far’ in training and puts his future on the show in jeopardy

Joe-Warren Plant has revealed he had to skip Dancing On Ice training on Tuesday after a past knee injury flared up after he went ‘too far’ during a session.

‘So we had to cancel today’s training session due to my ongoing knee injury! It’s unbelievably frustrating as I really felt like it had healed!

‘I’m not one to give up when I feel a little bit of pain and I was willing to carry on but it’s important for me to take a step back, not get too carried away with it and take it easy. Kneed to get this under control….’

Not letting his injury get him down, Joe-Warren shared a video of him on the ice as he skated while leaning on one knee.

He then headed to a gym where he and Vanessa cycled to help rehabilitate his knee before he went to a physiotherapy clinic to have a cold compress put on the injury.

‘For the past two weeks since we started, my knee hasn’t been causing me any pain or discomfort whatsoever so I automatically thought it was healing and getting better.

‘Yesterday I took it a little too far and I feel like I am back to square one with it.
