Ant Anstead jokes he can’t keep his job or his wives as he leaves Wheeler dealers after marriage split
He announced on Monday that he’s leaving his UK show Wheeler Dealers and on Tuesday, his wife of less than two years officially filed for divorce.
But British TV personality Ant Anstead seemingly hasn’t lost his sense of humor.
During a video chat with co-hosts Marc Priestley and Mike Brewer, Anstead quipped he couldn’t hold onto his job or his wives.

In expressing sadness at Anstead’s departure, co-host Brewer said in the YouTube video: ‘For me, I’m sad because you and me have got an amazing bromance…
‘People are gonna say ‘Brewer can’t hold onto these mechanics’ and all this nonsense.”
Antstead quickly quipped: ‘People say that about me and my wives!’

Wheeler Dealers had brought him to the US in 2017 and he explained he is leaving as the show is returning to the UK.

Anstead, 41, tied the knot with Christina El Moussa following her divorce from her Flip Or Flop co-star Tarek in 2018 but she announced their separation on September 18.
On Tuesday, Christina, 37, filed divorce papers in an Orange County, California, court, TMZ reported.
The estranged couple share a son, Hudson, who turned one last month.
Christina also shares daughter Taylor, 10, and and son Brayden, five, with ex-husband Tarek, while Anstead is father to Amelie, 17, and Archie, 14, from his previous marriage.
Anstead divorced his first wife Louise in 2017 after 12 years of marriage.

The father-of-three recently revealed he’s lost 23 pounds since splitting from Christina over the summer.
In the comments under a photo he posted last month a fan wrote ‘you look thinner’ to which he replied ’23lbs. Don’t worry I will get it back on’.
Ant appears to have been struggling with the break up and revealed last month that he dealt with the difficult split with the help of a Breakup Recovery program.
‘I am now on day 30 of this and I have to say it’s been a lifeline for me!’ he said. ‘If anyone out there needs this DO IT!’
