SAS Australia recruits in tears as they receive loving messages from home in new trailer

They have been left mentally and physically exhausted during their time on SAS Australia so far.

But the trailer for Monday’s episode of Channel military-style show provides the celebrity recruits with some much-needed light at the end of the tunnel.

Candice Warner and Sabrina Frederick are seen breaking down into tears as they receive some loving messages from home.

The nail-biting trailer begins with the chilling message, which read: ‘Hold your breath. It’s sink or swim’.

SAS Chief Instructor Ant Middleton then says: ‘Water is the most brutal environment. If you want something to go wrong, just add water’.

Tense scenes see him telling the celebrity recruit that their ‘hands will be bound’ and ‘their lungs will be full of water’.

There’s momentary light relief when the stars are presented with messages from home.

Sabrina and Firass Dirani well up with tears as they watch their videos of support.

Ant then adds: ‘Strength comes in all forms. Strength of mind, Strength of character… we’re there to test every single one of them.

‘One hesitation, one mistake, could cost you your life’.

Candice is the one who appears to be most overcome with emotion when she is shown a video from her husband David Warner and their daughters.

Her eldest Ivy, six, says: ‘I love you mum, I miss you, I hope you’re going okay’, while her younger daughter Indi adds: ‘I wish you would come back now’.

Immediately, Candice struggles to contain her tears.
