Jamie Laing insists he is no longer a cheater

‘A life being unfaithful to women isn’t a charming life to live’: Jamie Laing insists he is no longer a cheater but admits he has ‘no regrets’ about previous flings

Jamie Laing has admitted that he realised  being ‘unfaithful to women’ is not a ‘charming’ way to live, but he also does not have any regrets about his past.

The Made In Chelsea star’s love life has played out before the cameras on the E4 reality series and viewers saw him confess to cheating on ex-girlfriend Frankie Gaff.

Speaking to new! magazine, Jamie, 32, insisted he has changed his behaviour since his early days on the show and is now happily settled down with Sophie Habboo, 27.

Honest: Jamie Laing has admitted that he realised being ‘unfaithful to women’ is not a ‘charming’ way to live, but he also does not have any regrets about his past

He said: ‘You soon realise that a life being unfaithful to women isn’t a charming life to live. It is not respected and people don’t look at you terribly fondly.

‘You soon realise your mistakes and learn from them. I’ve certainly learnt from mine. I don’t regret anything but I’ll never forget upsetting others and myself.’

Last year, Jamie’s dalliance with Rosi Mai Waldon was revealed to his then new love interest Sophie – leaving everyone involved devastated.

Back in 2016, the star confessed that he couldn’t remember whether or not he had locked lips with another girl on a skiing trip while he was dating Frankie.

Jamie is currently competing on Strictly Come Dancing where he is partnered with professional dancer Karen Hauer.

Although the show has become famous for the so-called ‘Strictly Curse’, Jamie insisted Sophie isn’t worried about him developing any feelings for the dancer.

He said: ‘She is totally secure, and believe me, when I’m dancing with Karen I’m not thinking about anything other than getting the steps right.’

Jamie also discussed his training regime in the interview, saying he starts rehearsals at 10am each day and has already been left with bad blisters.

The reality star added that the show is harder than he thought it would be and so far he has bonded with The Wanted’s Max George.

Hearing feedback from the judges has made Jamie more competitive, with the star saying he now wants to dance for the rest of his life.

Jamie was lined-up to be a contestant last year but damaged the tendon in his right foot, ruling him out of the competition that was then won by Oti Mabuse, 30, and his replacement, Kelvin Fletcher, 36.

Speaking recently to MailOnline, Jamie admitted he wasn’t sure why he was not re-paired with Oti this year.

He said: ‘It would have been wonderful to be re-paired with Oti but at the same time everything happens for a reason and Karen and I are real buddies.

‘Perhaps Oti may have hated me at some point? Who knows! But with Karen we get on so well and so, it kind of works. I am happy that Karen and I are partnered together without a doubt.

”After what’s happened this year, I honestly thought that the show wasn’t going to happen but thank God we can actually dance.’
