In a post shared to Instagram on Monday, the 52-year-old actor used a graphic of his X-Men character, Logan, also known as Wolverine, to make the plea.

The image showed Logan in costume, holding up a sign which read: ‘Cover your face and save lives, or Logan is coming for you’.
