Christina Aguilera made her feelings about Tuesday’s presidential election very clear in a Monday night tweet.

The hitmaker, 39, edited an old photo of herself from July 2019 in which she’s posing for photos in a pale pink ball gown with the message on the front of it: ‘F this I’m going to Paris.’

In her tweet, though, the message on the image was changed to: ‘F* this I’m going to vote.’

The singer, who has two children, also posted election protection phone numbers and voter rights information as America chooses the next president.

‘I think about my children and the world I want them to grow up in. A world filled with love, tolerance, acceptance, and respect,’ she explained in her tweet.

‘This year has shattered my heart in so many ways,’ she said. ‘I’ve been horrified by the behavior we’ve been seeing – behavior that I wouldn’t even expect from my 6 year old.’

Aguilera went on: ‘But I am still hopeful that we can unite and push for positive and peaceful change FOR HUMANITY. Let’s create a better & more united future for us all!’

She then urged her followers to vote, telling them:  ‘You can’t rely on someone else to do it. You have the power. You can make the change.’
