She’s been politically active throughout the last year leading up to the election, hosting multiple chats with former presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders. 

And on the eve of Election Day in the US, outspoken rapper Cardi B took to her Instagram to share encouraging words and tips for those planning to vote at the polls in person like her.

In the video testimonial, the WAP hitmaker, 28, explained how even though she doesn’t like waking up early, she’s planning on getting up ‘extremely early’ to avoid any lines.

On the eve of Election Day: Outspoken rapper Cardi B took to her Instagram to share encouraging words and tips for those planning to vote at the polls in person

‘If you do get caught in them lines, don’t get discouraged,’ Cardi advised, wearing pigtail braids and a grey tank top.

‘Make sure you bring snacks, your phone is fully charged, go with a friend to keep you entertained, joke around.’ 

Later, the mother-of-one shared her unedited feelings on the current commander in chief. 

‘I’m tired of this BS,’ Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, stated. ‘I’m tired of getting upset every single time I see this man talk.’ 

Cardi then decided to conclude her confessional with an inspiring call to action. 

‘Your little one vote, your little one vote could change [things],’ she said.

‘You could make a change, I could make a change. You don’t gotta be special, you don’t gotta be rich, you don’t gotta be famous, you don’t gotta be beautiful.

In the caption to the post, the Grammy winner also shared her unease about the impending election results.

‘Tomorrow is the day ! I’m not going to front I’m so nervous of the outcome but I know we can make a change,’ Cardi wrote. ‘LETS GO! #BIGBIDEN’
