Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have admitted they are ‘numb with fear’ as they prepare to endure their first ever Bushtucker Trial.

The presenting duo shared a glimpse of their car ride to the show’s famous clearing when they filmed the challenge for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, with Dec confessing he may need to a bathroom break before they face the terrifying tasks.

Ant and Dec took part in their first ever Bushtucker Trial for the ITV special A Jungle Story, which look back at 19 series of the iconic ITV show ahead of its return to screens later this month.

Nervous: Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have admitted they are ‘numb with fear’ as they prepare to endure their first ever Bushtucker Trial

In the video, Ant and Dec were dressed in their full jungle attire as they sat in the car to drive to the challenge, which was filmed last year during the 2019 series in Australia.

The pair couldn’t hide their nerves at taking on such a task after watching celebrities face their fears for nearly two decades.

As Dec confessed he was ‘numb with fear,’ Ant removed his hat from his face and said to his presenting partner: ‘I can’t talk, I didn’t think I’d be this bad.

‘When you mentioned we were doing it I was like ”oh let’s give it a go!” but now, now we’re in the gear, now I’m nervous.’
