Kyle Sandilands says his $5million LA mansion ‘full of money and gold’ has been ‘abandoned’ while he’s stuck in Sydney during the Covid-19 pandemic
Radio host Kyle Sandilands purchased a $5million mansion in the exclusive Holmby Hills neighbourhood in Los Angeles in 2010.
But because border closures have kept him from travelling to America since his last trip in February, the 49-year-old is worried about the security of his property.
‘My house in LA has just been abandoned. There’s no one there. The car’s there, everything’s there,’ Kyle said on air on Monday.

The KIIS FM presenter went on to say his home was ‘full of money and gold’, but later clarified that he was ‘only joking’.
‘What address is that again?’ a call-in listener then asked, prompting Kyle and his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson to burst into laughter.
Kyle usually lives in LA for several months of the year, but hasn’t been able to travel there in eight months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
His home, which is located in the same neighbourhood as the Playboy mansion, has six bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

‘The house that Michael Jackson died in is five houses away from my house – same street,’ he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in June.
He added that Simon Cowell, Jennifer Lawrence and Joe Jonas ‘live not far away’.
‘Hang on! Right there in Holmby Hills is Taylor Swift. She must be a neighbour as well, is she?’ Kyle asked the team at the time.

When he is not based in America, Kyle lives in a $5,000-per-week rented mansion in Sydney’s Woollahra with his girlfriend, Tegan Kynaston.
The home is just a few minutes’ drive from Jackie’s mansion, and boasts seven bedrooms, five bathrooms and an extravagant outdoor swimming pool.
The 1923 property has been meticulously renovated over the years while still maintaining its stately character.
