Dominic Cooper appears unimpressed after being hit with car trouble while out with his Austin Healey

Dominic Cooper appears unimpressed as he makes a phone call and looks under the bonnet of his classic Austin Healey after being hit with car trouble

He’s not had the best of luck with his vehicles over the past few months after two were stolen and another targeted by thieves.

And Dominic Cooper appeared unimpressed as he made a phone call after being hit with yet another car problem while out in London on Monday.

The Mamma Mia! actor, 42, opened the bonnet of his red Austin Healey, which was reported as stolen back in July, and looked around the car during the call.

Oh dear: Dominic Cooper appeared unimpressed on Monday as his classic Austin Healey, which was reported stolen in July, was hit with problems while out in London

Dominic held his phone to his face while moving around the tiny vehicle and even gave the car’s tyre a gentle kick with his brown leather boot.

He cut a casual figure for the would-be outing, donning a blue jacket and red beanie hat as well as some black skinny jeans.

It is not known what happened to the car – thought to be his Austin Healey which retails around £65,000 – but the star had the engine cover up, suggesting that was where the problem was coming from.

Back in July it was reported that the 1950s era car had been stolen, with Dominic then starting to use a sleek red Jaguar F-Type coupe p 300 as his new run around.

In another strike of bad luck, Dominic’s Range Rover was also stolen in August with the star appealing on social media for any news about it.

Dominic had been using the larger drive to deliver meals to NHS staff during the first coronavirus lockdown and it had the initiative’s name Cook-19 on the side, reports the Camden New Journal.

And only weeks after this, it was reported that Dominic had posted an online appeal again for witnesses after claiming a man pilfered something from his £54,000 open-top Jaguar F-Type in Primrose Hill.

According to the Daily Mail, Dominic captured images of the alleged offender on CCTV and wrote on the website Nextdoor: ‘This bloke just broke into my car. Keep your eye out.’

Although not having much luck with his motors, Dominic did manage to enjoy a weekend away with his girlfriend Gemma Chan during the summer.

The Hollywood star went on a rural Scottish getaway with his actress love and their close friends Richard Madden and Lily James.

Richard and Gemma starred together in Eternals while Lily and Dominic co-starred in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Dominic, Gemma and Richard decided to avoid the hustle and bustle of their respective homes in the city to stay in Blair Athol, a village in Perthshire known for its rustic stone buildings and scenic landscape.

Preacher star Dominic and Crazy Rich Asians actress Gemma live together in London, but decided to escape the city to meet up with Scots-born Madden, who had spent isolation in Los Angeles with actor Froy Gutierrez.
