Earlier this week she spoke admitted that despite her ongoing divorce, she’s looking forward to spending time with her family and ex.

Kristin and Jay announced they were ending their nearly 10-year relationship in April after seven years of marriage.

‘Jay and I were discussing the menu together yesterday, and he’ll be on meat duty. I think he’s gonna fry a turkey and smoke a lamb leg, and then I’m gonna do everything else,’ she said.

Their plans come as a surprise as they’ve waged a divorce battle after she filed citing irreconcilable differences.

‘I’m happy that we’re able to spend it together and have these conversations even though we’re in the middle of getting a divorce,’ she said. ‘So, I’m thankful for where we’re currently at.’

In April, Kristin accused Cutler of ‘inappropriate marital conduct’ and was seeking primary physical custody.

‘[Cutler] is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper,’ Cavallari said in her divorce petition.

She told People magazine in September: ‘It didn’t happen overnight. We tried really, really hard for years and years. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made. I still care so much about him and talk to him almost every day.’
