Bachelor: Laura Byrne reveals theory about the gender of her unborn baby

She recently announced she was expecting her second child with her fiancé, Matthew Johnson. 

And on Thursday, The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne revealed her interesting theory about the gender of her unborn baby. 

While the couple have chosen to keep it a surprise, the 31-year-old podcast host explained during an Instagram Q&A that she was getting ‘boy vibes’. 

‘We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl. We’re having a surprise,’ she said. 

‘But I’m getting very strong boy vibes, which means absolutely nothing because I also got very strong boy vibes when I had Marlie-Mae [her daughter]. So… It’s probably a girl.’ 

She also admitted that she and Matthew had originally wanted three children, but were now considering stopping at two. 

‘If you asked me  two weeks ago I would have told you we were having three kids,’ she said.

‘But we just watched David Attenborough’s new documentary, which I highly recommend, and [I’m] pretty sure we’re going to have two.’ 

Matthew and Laura announced last month they were expecting their second child together.

‘Marlie-Mae learning shocked face couldn’t have been timed any better.. WE’RE HAVING A BABY!’ Matthew, 32, wrote alongside a family photo on Instagram.  

‘I reckon we’ve kept this little beach ball under wraps for long enough….. Halfway to number 2,’ Laura added in a separate post on her own account.

‘A big shout out to @matthewdavidjohnson for his contribution. You’re hands down my favourite Bachelor, I love you forever and our little family.’  

Matthew and Laura fell in love on The Bachelor in 2017 and got engaged in April last year. They welcomed their first child, daughter Marlie-Mae Rose, in 2019.
