Model Steph Claire Smith reveals her dog has been following her after announcing her pregnancy

Just a day after announcing her pregnancy, Steph Claire Smith revealed her beloved dog, Ari, has been following her everywhere.

The 26-year-old Instagram model asked her followers if they thought ‘dogs know when you’re pregnant’. 

‘I’d love to hear your stories!!! Ari has always followed me around but he’s legit become my shadow lately and naps with me everyday,’ she continued.

Steph included a sweet photo of herself lying on an outdoor lounge, as her adorable dog rested his head on her stomach.

She was dressed in what appeared to be a black robe, and her long caramel-coloured hair was piled into a high ponytail.

Posting to Instagram Stories on Thursday, Steph revealed many of her followers had assured her that pets know when their owners are expecting, which made her ‘smile so much’. 

In a separate post on Instagram on Wednesday, Steph announced she’s expecting her first child with her husband of a year, Josh Miller.  

‘Mini Miller due April 2021. We are absolutely overjoyed, grateful and loving the journey so far,’ she wrote.

She also included a photo of her 30-year-old husband sweetly kissing her emerging baby bump, as Steph laughed happily.

The Soda Shades co-founder seemed equally excited, sharing a photo of himself affectionately embracing Steph’s stomach while smiling adoringly at her.

Meanwhile, Ari sat happily by their feet, with Steph smiling down at her faithful dog.  

‘Our little family is getting a little bigger soon. We are so so excited to meet you little one!’ Josh captioned the photo.
