Jessica Rowe has revealed she dislocated her knee while dancing in a TikTok video with her two daughters Allegra and Giselle on Thursday.

The former Studio 10 host, 50, said she decided to join the video-sharing app during lockdown but injured herself while completing a challenge with her girls.

‘Early on in lockdown I was so inspired by all the mums dancing with their kids and posting all this cool stuff, I thought I’d set up my TikTok Channel,’ she told The Kyle and Jackie O show.

She explained she was completing a dance challenge with her daughters Allegra, 13, and Giselle, 11, but slipped and dislocated her knee.

‘But I dislocated my knee. I was dancing to this crazy rapper’s song and I accidentally slipped and dislocated my knee,’ she said.

Jessica continued: ‘That’s the second time I’ve had a knee issue and it’s so painful. I had to pop it back in.’

‘I could feel at the end of each show, not every day, but most days I would be close to tears,’ she told the magazine.

‘I’d feel that behind my eyes and was just about keeping it together. And I thought, “Why am I doing this to myself?”‘

Jessica added: ‘I knew that I was heading down, I knew that my anxiety was there, that I was getting depressed and that if I didn’t make a change I’d start to falter.’
