Jay Rutland shares sweet snaps of baby Serena… six weeks after wife Tamara Ecclestone gave birth

They ‘quietly’ welcomed their second daughter in Switzerland last month. 

And, Jay Rutland, 39, took to Instagram on Thursday to share sweet snaps of baby Serena as he and Tamara Ecclestone, 36, marked six weeks with their newborn. 

The art gallery director photographed his youngest daughter resting on a bespoke cushion, with a sign behind her head which noted her age.

For another heartwarming shot, Jay could be seen cradling the tiny baby, who was asleep in his arms. 

The father-of-two captioned the adorable snaps: ‘We blinked and you were 6 weeks old…’

As well as their baby girl, Jay and his Formula One heiress wife are also parents to daughter, Sophia, six.

On Tuesday, Tamara shared the first pictures of her newborn daughter Serena to her Instagram Stories.

The socialite appeared in great spirits as she cradled her baby girl during a cosy stroll, while businessman Jay also uploaded sweet photos of their eldest child Sophia, six, snuggling her younger sister. 

Tamara appeared to be taking life as a mother-of-two in her stride as she carried Serena in a sling. 

In other images shared to Jay’s page, doting sibling Fifi cuddled the tot as they coordinated in comfy PJs before heading to bed. 

The mother-of-two welcomed her second daughter in a hospital near Bern in Switzerland last month.

Model Tamara had confirmed the arrival of her second daughter earlier this month in a sweet post, where she spoke about Sophia’s love for her baby sister.

The reality star wrote on social media: ‘Three weeks ago you completed us baby Serena. Watching the love Fifi has for her baby sister makes me happier and prouder than I could of ever dreamed of.’    

Her delighted father Bernie confirmed the news from his home in Gstaad in the Swiss Alps, telling MailOnline: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to be a grandfather again.   

‘Tamara gave birth to a little girl seven days ago in the same hospital that my son Ace was born in. Mother and baby are doing brilliantly. She’s a beautiful little thing.

‘She has named her Serena and both of them have been already out on the town together around Gstaad.’

Bernie announced in July that he became a father for the fourth time to a boy named Ace. 

He explained: ‘Serena and Ace are very close in age and so will be able to play together when they’re a little older. I’m delighted that Serena is with us at last. I’m getting quite the collection of grandkids!’    

The Formula One boss and his wife Fabiana Flosi, 44, announced they were expecting a baby in April.

The father-of-four’s latest arrival is 65 years younger than his first child Deborah, whom he had with his first wife, Ivy Bamford.
