Emily Ratajkowski showcases baby bump for her new Inamorata mesh collection campaign

Inamorata CEO Emily Ratajkowski continued to showcase her small baby bump on Thursday for her new mesh collection campaign shot by photographer Emily Lipson.

The expecting 29-year-old – who’s 20 weeks along – was modeling the $55 ‘Sycamore’ top and $85 ‘Beachwood’ pants from the new line.

Emily’s three-year-old swimwear brand with co-founder and best friend Kat Mendenhall has also branched out to lingerie, loungewear, and a line of basics.  

‘Just reflecting on all the lovely messages we’ve received in the last few days,’ Ratajkowski – who boasts 36.3M social media followers – wrote Thursday via Instastory.

‘Thank you so much to each and every one of you who wrote to us. I was very nervous about sharing out news and it was heartwarming to receive so much love and support.’

The London-born SoCal native announced her first pregnancy with her husband, Uncut Gems co-producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, in an October 26 essay in Vogue pondering gender identity. 

‘When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after “Congratulations” is almost always “Do you know what you want?” We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then,’ wrote Emily, who’s penning a nonfiction book of essays titled My Body.

‘Everyone laughs at this. There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who – rather than what – is growing inside my belly.

‘Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are? This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled.’ 

Ratajkowski added: ‘I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible. But no matter how progressive I may hope to be, I understand the desire to know the gender of our fetus; it feels like the first real opportunity to glimpse who they might be.’

The rent-dodging Tribeca couple are also ‘parents’ to their ’80lb’ German Shepherd Columbo, whom they adopted on May 11, 2019.

The 39-year-old Independent Spirit Award nominee’s next producing effort is former child star Owen Kline’s long-delayed feature directorial debut – a 2021 comedy called Two Against Nature – with the Safdie Brothers and Scott Rudin.
