The 25-year-old bachelorette was pulled aside for a one-on-one conversation with Jacob, which ended in tears, after the overprotective big brother grilled her.
And fans were equally shaken by Jacob’s intimidating demeanour during their first meeting, venting their feelings on Twitter.

Even the show’s host, Osher Günsberg, admitted Jacob had been a memorable personality.
‘Joey’s brother is just… epic,’ the 46-year-old veteran TV star tweeted.
Elly came up against Jacob during a home visit to meet Joe’s family, and was immediately asked why she hadn’t chosen the 25-year-old suitor for a single date.

‘It’s a concern because, well, you wonder why… If she wanted to spend time with him, it is the perfect opportunity, so why hasn’t she?’
Elly explained that she felt like she hadn’t needed a single date with Joe since she knew him before the show, but Jacob was still unimpressed.

‘If you knew each other before coming on the show, why are you on the show to begin with? You could’ve sorted this all out without the show.’
Later on, Elly began to cry during a one-on-one chat with Jacob, prompting him to soften and concede: ‘She seems like a really nice girl. I hope he comes away with Elly, but we’ll wait and see.’
