He’s the former Married At First Sight star known for his relentless pursuit of fame.

But it seems Nasser Sultan’s desperate quest to find love has taken a sour turn, after he launched a campaign to become next year’s Bachelor. 

Australian women have flocked to Facebook to question the 52-year-old’s intentions.

‘It’s time to give up your 14 minutes of fame, Nasser. From what I remember you are just out for the publicity and fame,’ one person commented.

Another wrote: ‘He was an absolute bloody FLOG.. it was his way or the highway, no compromise whatsoever… BEWARE WOMEN!’ 

Meanwhile, a third added: ‘He’s nothing great, come on, he’s stuck up. He wants everything his way.’

On Tuesday, it was revealed that Nasser was desperately campaigning to become Australia’s next Bachelor.

Posting a clip to Instagram, he explained why he should be The Bachelor and asked his followers for their support.

‘I have decided to put myself forward to be the first multicultural, Arabic-speaking, Mediterranean-looking Bachelor for 2021,’ he said.

‘I feel we need a change and I am that change, so I need your support.’ 

Responding to the backlash, Nasser told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday: ‘The amount of support and well wishes that I’ve received have been overwhelming.

‘And it’s good to see people are so invested in me that they care to comment. The hate is just people don’t want to admit that they are heavily invested in me that’s all.’
