The women have outperformed the men on SAS Australia, according to many of the show’s viewers.

Fans of the gruelling reality show flocked to Twitter on Tuesday to heap praise on the show’s female recruits.  

‘Women are outshining the men… proud of their efforts,’ tweeted one viewer, while another added, ‘The girls are carrying both teams, well done ladies!’

Others pointed out that while the women were initially considered to be ‘a weak link physically’, they’ve fared much better than the men.  

‘There was some talk during earlier episodes about the women being a weak link physically,’ commented one viewer.

‘Now they’re all getting through this without complaint while the men are struggling.’

Former Bachelorette Ali Oetjen surprised many viewers with her tenacity after earlier struggling to keep up physically with the demanding challenges. 

‘I’m more impressed with Ali after 5 minutes of this show vs the whole series of The Bachelorette,’ tweeted one fan.  

‘Ally [sic] is starting to shine. Go girl,’ added another, while one person labelled her ‘so inspiring’ and ‘incredible’.

Other favourites included AFLW player Sabrina Frederick, with one fan calling her a ‘machine’, while another fan branded model Erin McNaught ‘an inspiration’. 

‘Look at her showing the boys how it’s done,’ they added.

Other women who are featured on this year’s debut season include former Ironwoman Candice Warner, rally driver Molly Taylor and swimmer Shayna Jack.
