The Bachelorette suffered its worst ratings in the franchise’s history last week.

But on Sunday, contestant Shannon Karaka and evictee Rudy El Kholti looked cheerful as they were spotted catching up for breakfast at Gusto in Sydney’s Bondi.

The reality stars proved they had formed a close bond while vying for the hearts of sisters Elly and Becky Miles, as they wore matching outfits and even ordered the same exact meals.

Shannon and Rudy were both dressed in plain white T-shirts, navy blue shorts and white shoes.

They completed their low-key ensembles by wearing designer sunglasses.

Upon arriving at the café, the Channel 10 stars were seen ordering the same meal, which consisted of scrambled eggs, spinach and avocado.

The Bachelorette had failed to deliver big ratings for its premiere in early October, despite revamping the format this season by casting two sisters in the lead role.

Many viewers have criticised the series for its uninspiring leads, who have been relentlessly promoted as ‘country girls’ despite the fact they both live in cities.

The Bachelorette continues Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
