Kate Walsh has been adjusting to life in Australia after unexpectedly finding herself ‘trapped’ in the country back in March.

And on Tuesday, the Hollywood star looked a cool casual as she stepped out wearing a summery dress in Fremantle, Western Australia.

The 53-year-old actress, who is usually based in New York City, cut a relaxed figure while taking a walk past Victoria Hall.

Summer ready: Kate Walsh has been adjusting to life in Australia nicely after becoming ‘trapped’ while on holiday from New York City in March. And on Tuesday, the Hollywood A-Lister was spotted looking a cool casual as she stepped out in Fremantle (pictured)

She donned a lightly coloured floral print dress and silver sandals, and put her red toenail polish on display.

Kate completed her look with wide-framed sunglasses, diamond earrings, a silver watch and a dainty chain around her neck.

The Grey’s Anatomy star clutched a take-away coffee and a hair tie, and tucked a water bottle under her left arm.

She appeared to be all smiles as she strolled along while carrying a black backpack.

Kate’s outing comes after she joined the star-studded line-up at the Crown Theatre on Sunday for Seven’s Telethon, an annual event raising money for sick children.

The 2020 event raised more than $46million, including a $5.5million donation from the Western Australia Government.

‘What an evening! Thanks for having me,’ Kate wrote on Instagram Stories on Monday.

Kate was also pictured smiling ear-to-ear at the premiere of Honest Thief. While at the event, she told 2GB’s Jim Wilson she felt ‘very grateful’ to be in Australia during the COVID-19 crisis.

‘Honestly, I feel very lucky,’ she said on October 20. ‘It’s kind of a crazy situation: it’s like being in an alternate reality compared to the rest of the world.

‘We are hopefully bringing a streaming series here in 2021 that’s what I am hoping, with Mark Williams who wrote and directed Honest Thief.’
