He’s the heavily tattooed Bachelor, and on Friday, Locky Gilbert revealed the secret meaning behind his cryptic neck ink.

The 31-year-old spoke about the prominent tattoo in a Q&A with fans on Instagram Stories.

Locky has two lines of fine script running down the left side of his neck, just behind his ear, which has piqued the curiosity of his fans.

After being asked what the tattoo means, Locky responded simply: ‘He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.’ 

The quote is by late boxing champion Muhammad Ali, who often repeated the phrase throughout his stellar career.

Speaking previously about his cryptic neck tattoo, Locky simply said it was a meaningful quote that is ‘there for people to read’.

It’s one of many tattoos that adorn the former Survivor hunk, who also has the words ‘Strength & Honour’ tattooed across his chest.

He also has the phrase, ‘You only live once,’ tattooed on his inner right bicep, along with an intricate design.

On his inner left bicep, he has a royal flush of playing cards, while a map of the world is tattooed along the left side of his torso.

Locky also has an artwork tattooed on his right shin, with the prominent tattoo taking up the lower half of his leg.

‘I mean, it’s a sign of breaking up if you get a name tattooed on you,’ he said.
