The long-awaited Borat sequel, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, has just launched on Amazon Prime Video.

And to celebrate its release, former Bachelor Matty Johnson, 33, transformed into Sacha Baron Cohen’s character and alter ego, Borat Sagdiyev.

In videos shared to Instagram Stories on Friday, Matty wore the Kazahk journalist’s green ‘mankini’, before dancing in his grey suit with daughter Marlie-Mae, one.

Pregnant fiancée Laura Byrne, who filmed one clip, could be heard laughing as Matty posed around their living room in Sydney’s Bondi, in nothing but the ‘mankini’.

‘Really vibing the whole no pants Friday theme,’ Laura captioned the post, referencing Matty’s playful demeanour.

Another video, this time shared to Matty’s Instagram Stories, saw the former reality star changing into Borat’s signature grey suit, and adding his black moustache.

With daughter Marlie-Mae on his hip, the radio host began to dance just like Borat, as a clip of the character played on a TV screen behind him.

Mockumentary Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is the sequel to 2006’s Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

It sees Borat touring America again, 14 years later, and is joined by his daughter Sandra Jessika Parker, played by Maria Bakalova.

Sandra is presented as a ‘gift’ from his government to Vice President Mike Pence.

Sacha told The Sydney Morning Herald that the timing of the sequel’s release is perfect, with the Presidential election on November 3.

‘Over the next few weeks, we will determine whether the US remains a democracy or slips into autocracy and that’s why I am releasing this movie now,’ the 49-year-old said.

‘This is my form of protest; me, raising my voice in the only way I know how.’
