Original Jurassic Park co-stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum paid tribute to the late Richard Attenborough with a post on Instagram.
The Academy Award winner, 53, actor, 73, and Thor: Ragnarok star, 68, returned to set after filming was delayed on Jurassic World: Dominion for two weeks due to a few COVID-19 outbreaks amongst the cast and crew.
Laura, Sam, and Jeff smiled brightly as they posed for a snap outside the Richard Attenborough Stage at Pinewood Studios, which was where they were set to film scenes with their ‘greatest dinosaur terror yet.’

Sam, who plays Dr. Alan Grant in the franchise, wrote: ‘Today, here we are, thinking about our old pal and colleague, dear old Dickie Attenborough, on the actual #RichardAttenboroughStage at #PinwoodStudios.
‘Completely appropriately, we face our greatest dinosaur terror yet today, on a great soundstage named for the great man himself.
‘But in the capable hands of @colintrevorrow, @lauradern, @jeffgoldblum, @prattprattpratt, @brycedallashoward, #DeWandaWise and #izzySermon – we should make it okay. As Dickie would say ‘ Darling , I lived through the Blitz’ .’
Reposting the same photograph, Laura gushed: ‘We miss you beloved Sir Richard. Filming on your stage today.’

Preparations for the day of filming appeared to have already begun, as Sam could be seen sporting a small cut on his forehead, seemingly for the shoot.
Director Colin Trevorrow also shared the post via Twitter, confirming that production had resumed as he simply captioned the picture with ‘back.’
Earlier this month, Colin confirmed production had to be paused after ‘a few’ Covid-19 positive tests, but he added that the delay was simply a precaution as those who were infected tested negative ‘shortly after.’

The delay came just days after it was revealed the much-anticipated sequel had been pushed back by a whole year to June 10, 2022, as film releases continue to be delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Colin tweeted: ‘Woke up to the news we had a few positive Coronavirus tests on Jurassic World: Dominion.
‘All tested negative shortly after, but due to our safety protocols we’re going to pause for two weeks. Back soon.’

Colin seemed to find the humorous side in the delay, as he shared a snap of a dinosaur wearing a face mask.
A Universal Pictures spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Late last night, we were informed that the Jurassic World: Dominion production experienced a small amount of positive tests for COVID-19.
‘Even though subsequent tests proved negative this morning, due to our rigid protocols and to ensure that the safety and well-being of our entire cast and crew is paramount at all times, those who initially tested positive are currently self-isolating, as are those who they have come into contact with.

According to Variety, the film was just three weeks away from completion when production was halted, despite numerous strict measures to keep the cast and crew COVID-safe.
Filming started in February in Vancouver before moving to the U.K. in March, though production quickly shut down in mid-March, when COVID-19 started to spread.
