TOWIE’s Chloe Meadows, 28, admits she ‘really worries’ about her fertility

Chloe Meadows has confessed she fears for her fertility as the women in her family have experienced problems.

During Wednesday’s episode of TOWIE, the 28-year-old reality star sat down for a candid chat with Amy Childs, Courtney Green and Chloe Brockett.  

Chloe – who is in the process of buying a house with boyfriend George Wales – revealed: ‘I really worry about having kids.’

She continued: ‘I’m not young anymore and there’s actually fertility problems in my family. Like my nan took five years to get pregnant, my mum took three years. 

‘It’s a real worry for me. Girls have got such an internal clock ticking’.

Recalling her own experiences with daughter Polly, now three, Amy, 30, recalled: ‘I’ve got to be completely honest. It took me two years to fall pregnant with Polly.

‘I had my ovaries checked. You might have to get your ovaries checked. I’m sure it’ll be fine. Sometimes they say when you want something so much it don’t happen. And the minute I relaxed, I fell pregnant’. 

Courtney added: ‘I definitely think having a test is a good idea for you as I know how much you stress and you talk about it all the time’.

Lightening the mood, Amy – who is also mum to son Ritchie Junior, two – quipped: ‘I’m like the expert in trying to fall pregnant, so if you want any advice, you come to me, I’m a professional!’ 

Chloe joked: ‘When I’m actually trying, you can move in with me and George and you can tell us to go upstairs when we need to!’ 

Chloe and George were childhood sweethearts but split in 2016, with Chloe admitting that was her motivation for joining TOWIE, as she wanted her ex to see her dating other people as ‘revenge’.

During her time on the show, Chloe struck up a romance with Taylor Barnett, who she was introduced to by Courtney Green, as he was the best friend of her ex, Myles Barnett.

However, things were not meant to be, and after a year of dating, Chloe ended up reconciling with city worker George. 

Although the pair are focusing on finding a house together first, Chloe recently confessed that she does expect a proposal soon.

‘A ring would not go amiss!’ she told MailOnline last month. ‘We were recently in Santorini and the amount of people who messaged me saying I was going to get engaged! Even Courtney [Green]… and I thought they were going to ruin a surprise.’

Revealing that she is willing to be patient for a little while longer, she mused: ‘He wants to get the house secured. Get the house, then it’s a waiting game!’

Although the pair see kids in their future, Chloe insisted that we won’t be hearing the pitter patter for a while as the pair go travelling and enjoy their freedom.
