A wealthy teenager reduced a single mother to tears when he revealed he had paid for her dream family holiday on Rich Kids, Skint Holidays.
Luke, 19, who appears on tonight’s episode, is the son of a successful orthopedic surgeon and grew up in a six-bedroom, five bathroom mansion in Essex.
The teenager spent a week with mother-of-two Steph, 32, her children Teagan, six, and Ronan, and her mother Margaret on a week-long holiday to a Welsh caravan park.
Working part-time in child protection, Steph, of Stoke-on-Trent, had to scrimp and save in order to afford a holiday and this year, she splurged on a static caravan park, costing £100 a night.
She was moved to tears when Luke revealed he had booked her daughter’s dream holiday to Disneyland Paris as a thank you for having him join her family.

He waited until the last minute to reveal his thoughtful gift when the family was telling him goodbye.
He explained the special present was a collaboration between his girlfriend, her parents and himself.
Margaret and Steph were immediately overcome with emotion.
‘Thanks so much,’ Margaret said through tears.
‘I cant believe that,’ Steph said.

Speaking to the camera after collecting herself, Steph said: ‘I’ve said for months and months and years and years I’d just save up and take them there one day and now I can.’
Grandmother Margaret was also deeply touched.
‘It’s just wonderful and Steph does deserve this kind of thing, she’s a good mum and she looks after children and she struggles really hard to pay everything and she’s wonderful and I’m proud of her,’ she said, her voice cracking through the weight of emotions.
Steph admitted Luke had been nothing like she imaged a rich kids with the world’s wealth in his bank account would be.

‘I thought a rich kid would be stuck up and look down at us, I’m just really surprised that’s all,’ she said.
Hard-working mum Steph explained at the beginning of the programme that she would only be able to afford taking her daughter on the special fairytale trip if she won the lottery, and this was not lost on Luke.
The teenager grew up in the lap of luxury and wouldn’t think twice about spending his money on trips abroad, from Mexico to Monaco, San Francisco to Malaysia.
Working as an estate agent and coaching parkour on his free time, the Harrods addict admitted to spending thousands on his shoes collection – with just one pair costing £500.

The label-clad teenager showed up at the Welsh caravan park with more than a £1,000 worth of luggage.
Steph remarked the value of the bags was roughly the same as her monthly income of £800 plus childcare deductions.
And the discrepancies between Luke and his hosts did not stop there, as he admitted to splashing £700 on after shave, and paying anywhere between £10 and £500 for a meal for two.
The bling-loving heir, who said Harrods was ‘the best place in the world,’ also explained his family had a collection of expensive watches, with the most expensive costing as much as ‘£60,000.’

During his stay, Luke grew embarrassed of the tags on his clothes and how much money he was spending on accessories, telling Steph and Margaret: ‘I can see now after spending sometimes with you guy how much that money can help in certain areas and it puts things into perspective for me and that makes me feel quite uncomfortable.
‘100 percent I understand that that money could be used for holidays,’ he added.
‘Your aftershave could run my house for a month, Steph told him.
‘I feel naive and stupid for spending that much money on that sort of things,’ Luke admitted.
As the wealthy heir vowed to be more aware of his spending, Steph challenged him to provide entertainment and one meal for their group of five for just £20.
For a fun-filled afternoon, Luke took the Bulls to the Arcades, were he spent £4 on games.
He then spent £16.50 on food, planning to make an omelette for the family and going only 50p over budget.

On the last day of his stay, Luke treated the family to a steam train trip along the coast, and a Harrods hamper full of biscuits and cookies.
Steph was moved to tears and modestly turned away from the camera as Luke gave her a hug and told her ‘not to be silly.’
When came time to go home, both Steph and Luke were happy with their trip together.
‘Luke has learned a lot from her its nice to know that my family and I had an effect on someone that has a totally different life than we do,’ the mother-of-two said.
The wealthy teenager had indeed learned a thing or two from the family living on the bread line.
‘The last few days have been some of the best times and experiences that I’ve had,’ he said.
‘They have taught me the value of money and put into perspective how stupid some of the things I was paying for were.
‘I certainly in the future will reduce my spending, I’ve learned so much from them and had such an amazing time,’ he added.
