They’re not exactly eating gourmet, but on Tuesday’s episode of SAS Australia, Jackson Warne revealed he’s eaten a greater variety of food on the show than he has in his entire life.

As they sat down for a meal back at their camp base, the celebrity recruits scooped a red liquid out into their tin bowls.

‘Do you know what it is, Jackson?’ asked Schapelle Corby, with the 21-year-old responding simply, ‘The food? Soup.’

Schapelle, 43, explained that it was tomato soup, and Jackson asked her if it was ‘good’.

‘I’ve never had it. I’ve only had, like, 10 different foods before,’ he admitted.

His candid confession left Schapelle shocked, as she asked him whether he followed some sort of a special diet.

‘Oh, you don’t like to experience new foods! Oh! This is huge for you then,’ clarified Schapelle.

As he sat down to eat, Jackson confessed that the soup tasted like ‘tinned spaghetti sauce’.

He seemed to enjoy it though, holding his tin bowl up to his mouth as he scooped out every last bit with his spoon.

‘You’re broadening your horizons at a rate of knots,’ commented one of his fellow recruits.

Added Jackson: ‘I’ve tasted more foods the past two days than in my whole life.’
