The Australian woman made mini garlic bread toast cups filled to the brim with bolognese sauce because she didn’t want to eat pasta again. 

To make the dish, she lined each muffin tin with a slice of bread, followed by butter and diced garlic before she toasted them in the oven until golden brown.

To served, she added a spoonful of reheated bolognese sauce to each cup, finished with a sprinkle of cheese.

‘We had leftover bolognese to use up and didn’t feel like pasta again so I made some garlic toast cups,’ she wrote in Mums Who Cook and Bake Facebook group.

Dozens of people praised the mother for sharing her ‘great idea’, with many saying they couldn’t wait to recreate the dish at home. 

‘I’m so stealing this idea… brilliant,’ one wrote.

Another said: ‘What an awesome idea. I have some leftover too and always end up cooking more pasta,’ while added: ‘This would be great on a Friday night with leftover spaghetti bolognese.’

During the cooking process, she lined the garlic bread with the butter side facing around the edges of the pot so every piece is crispy by the time it’s ready to serve. 

‘Well dinner is on … one of our favorite dinners spaghetti and garlic basket – yummy,’ she said.
