Fleetwood Mac’s album Rumours has re-entered the top 10 with the help of a TikTok video featuring the band’s iconic single Dreams.
The British-American rock band, which hit its peak in the 1970s, has re-joined the Billboard charts with its famed album, 43 years after it was first released.
Rumours jumped up to No. 9 in the chart this week, creeping up an impressive six spots from the week before.
Dreams, Fleetwood Mac’s second single from the 1977 album, has seen an even bigger leap this week, landing at No. 3 in the chart, according to Variety.

Rumours originally spent a staggering 31 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 across 1977 and 1978 and has now returned to the top ten for the first time since 1978.
Dreams climbed to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time on June 18, 1977, and held that spot for one week.
The single has now found its way to the top of the iTunes chart and was also among the 50 most-streamed songs on Spotify.

Apodaca, who uses the TikTok handle 420doggface208, filmed himself lip-syncing to Dreams while sipping on Ocean Spray’s Cran-Raspberry juice and cruising on his long board across an empty highway.
The clip immediately went viral and Fleetwood Mac band members Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood quickly joined the craze to recreate Apodaca’s video.
Stevie, 72, filmed herself singing along to her self-written track while lacing a pair of skates in front of a gleaming piano – and a bottle of cranberry juice.
Captioning the video, she wrote: ‘Afternoon vibe. Lace ’em up! #Dreams #FleetwoodMac #CranberryDreams.’
She had followed in the footsteps of her bandmate Mick, 73, who had already shared his own version of Apodaca’s video on TikTok.

The legendary drummer has since surprised Apodaca during a BBC interview, telling him ‘we owe you’ and praising his video for uniting people during a difficult year.
He continued: ‘It’s such a celebration of everything. I’ve heard you talking about it, and it’s so joyous and fun.’
Reflecting on the success of the video, Apodaca previously said: ‘After I did that video, as you guys know the sh*t went viral – holy sheep sh*t.
‘I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart from DoggFace, me and my family, to all you guys.
‘No words that come to mind … just overnight sh*t’s been crazy. Thank you all for the donations, thank you all for the comments, thank you all for the gifts. I just appreciate everybody.’
Fleetwood Mac’s self-titled 1975 album is also benefiting from Apodaca’s success, moving up to No. 44 on the Billboard chart this week.
