But Ant Anstead is now picking up the pieces and moving on after his split from wife Christina Anstead of Flip Or Flop fame became public last month.
On Monday, the reality star and car aficionado, 41, briefly posted a graphic to his Instagram Stories, from an agency called Create The Love.

It revealed that for the last month, Ant had been participating in a ‘Breakup Recovery’ program, which included ‘daily videos and and emails’ along with ‘exercises and worksheets’.
The image also contained a slogan which proclaimed, ‘In 5 weeks move from hurting > healing > thriving’.
‘I am now on day 30 of this and I have to say it’s been a lifeline for me!’ the British-born father-of-three wrote at the bottom of the post.
‘If anyone out there needs this DO IT! Swipe up for link,’ he concluded, along with a heart emoji.

The post comes after several other shares from Ant which show how he’s coping, from opening up inspirational notecards from his daughter Amalie, 19, who lives in England, or participating in an athletic and faith-based men’s challenge on the beach focused on empowerment.
From mid- to late-September, both Ant and Christina, 37, shared a series of confessional posts shedding further light on the circumstances behind their shock split, which first came to light on September 18th.
On September 26th, Ant shared a black and white snap of the couple looking happy together, hinting in the caption that the separation was her decision.

The Wheeler Dealers star wrote: ‘Anyone who really knows me knows that I don’t like to share private matters publicly. I have remained silent while holding on to hope. I never gave up on us. I pray Christina’s decision brings her happiness’.
The share came mere hours after Christina posted a lengthy update on her life and moving on after a ‘curve ball’, to her own feed.
In that post, Christina opened up to her 1.4 million Instagram followers addressing her life post-separation and talking about a new direction she’s taking.

The Flip Or Flop star acknowledged her broken marriages as she said ‘I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two. I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies.’
The pair welcomed son Hudson, one, in September last year.
Last month, Christina deleted photos of her wedding to Ant from her Instagram page, though she kept other photos of the two, including the birth announcement for their one-year-old son Hudson.
The sudden announcement of Ant and Christina’s split comes after he was recently able to fly home to be with his older children after a months-long delay due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier in lockdown, Ant had explained that due to flight cancellations he was unable to be with his two older children.
Christina recently unveiled the ninth season of her HGTV real estate show Flip Or Flop with her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, to whom she was married from 2009 until 2018.
She and Tarek share daughter Taylor, nine, and son Brayden, five.
Ant, for his part, also has children from a previous marriage, to Louise Anstead: daughter Amelie, and son Archie, 14.
