She has never been one to take herself too seriously.

And Kate Beckinsale delighted fans with her latest stunt as she posed in a giant puffball bridal gown whilst posing in her garden’s tennis court with her friend Nina Kate.

The actress, 47, ensured all eyes would be on her in the dress which bore reams of ruffles and a long train.

Adding to the glamour, The Underworld star donned an intricate pearl choker and chandelier earrings with shades.

Sticking with the theme, Nina appeared to be in a bridesmaid dress as she posed in a pink puffball gown but with biker boots.

The pair also got their dogs involved in the action as they cuddled the pooches for the snap.

Kate captioned an image: ‘I’ve got a library copy of Gone with the Wind, a quart of milk and all these cookies. Wow! What an orgy!’

Kate will next be seen on screens in Jolt, an action-comedy about a homicidal bouncer with an anger management problem that she controls with the help of an electrode-lined vest she uses to shock herself back to normalcy.

The Tanya Wexler directed film also stars Bobby Cannavale, Laverne Cox and Stanley Tucci and is expected to be released next year.

Meanwhile, Kate’s daughter Lily is also gearing up for a job, landing her first big screen role in more than a decade, in the cast of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

The 21-year-old daughter of Kate and Michael Sheen appeared in her mother’s movies as a child such as Underworld: Evolution, Click and Everybody’s Fine.

Lily will play the daughter of Nicolas Cage, who is playing a fictionalized version of himself in the film, according to Deadline.

The story follows Cage, who is forced to accept a $1 million offer to attend the birthday party of a super-fan (Pedro Pascal).

The party takes a ‘wildly dangerous turn’ as Cage is forced to channel his most iconic big-screen roles to save himself and his loved ones.

As his career has seemingly built up to this very moment, Cage must play the role he was born to play: himself.

Production has already gotten under way in Croatia, as Nicolas and Pedro have been spotted on the set earlier this month.

The cast also includes Tiffany Haddish and Catastrophe star/creator Sharon Horgan.
