The outrageous Wendy Williams has outdone herself yet again.
On Friday, the 56-year-old television host let out a deafening belch live on her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, before offering an excuse.
The unapologetic host did not shy away from the moment, blaming the mishap on Puerto Rican food after saying, ‘excuse me.’

Williams was in the middle of talking about Halloween costumes before the loud burp overtook her Hot Topics segment.
She cited yesterday’s on camera cooking segment with Chef Evett Ríos, as the cause of the accidental bolk.
‘Look Evette Ríos’ Puerto Rican food… all the way down to the bone,’ she said, after covering her mouth.
The audience did not look too phased by the Wendy’s behavior, even clapping as she made the excuse.

The daytime host continued, ‘I’ve got plenty of containers, I think I’m gonna freeze one, and then nibble off the others for the rest of the weekend.’
She proceeded to go into detail about the food, talking about the ‘shrimp, roux, pease and potatoes,’ before moving her TV segment along.
Twitter was quick to erupt, as one user wrote, ‘You must not be a true Wendy watcher. Not the first time, won’t be the last.’
Another user wrote, ‘Did Wendy Williams just egregiously and ear-splitting belch/burp like a football player? Lay off the Fresca before showtime Auntie!’

This is not the first time Williams has burped on camera.
Back in 2016, the host appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers where she defended two previous on-air burps.
‘You know, when you talk and then you inhale air and then you burp,’ she said, after Seth played back two clips of her belching mid-sentence.
Most recently, Williams made headlines when she mispronounced Covid, calling it ‘Cornova,’ twice on air.
The host was trying to read President Trump’s tweet where he told people, ‘don’t be afraid.’
