Lily Sheen, the 21-year-old daughter of Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen, joins The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent with Nicolas Cage
Lily Sheen is returning to the big screen for her first role in more than a decade, joining the cast of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
The 21-year-old daughter of Martin Sheen and Kate Beckinsale has appeared in her mother’s movies as a child such as Underworld: Evolution, Click and Everybody’s Fine.
Sheen will portray the daughter of Nicolas Cage, who is playing a fictionalized version of himself in the film, according to Deadline.

The story follows Cage, who is forced to accept a $1 million offer to attend the birthday party of a super-fan (Pedro Pascal).
The party takes a ‘wildly dangerous turn’ as Cage is forced to channel his most iconic big-screen roles to save himself and his loved ones.
As his career has seemingly built up to this very moment, Cage must play the role he was born to play: himself.

Production has already gotten under way in Croatia, as Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal have been spotted on the set earlier this month.
The cast also includes Tiffany Haddish and Catastrophe star/creator Sharon Horgan.
The film is directed by Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment, Ghosted) from a script he co-wrote with Kevin Etten (Ghosted, Workaholics).

The film will be produced by Kevin Turen, Kristin Burr and Mike Nilon, with Cage also serving as a producer.
The project is being overseen at Lionsgate by James Myers and Brady Fujikaw, with the studio setting a March 19, 2021 release date.
There is no word on how long production is expected to last on the film as shooting continues in Croatia.

Sheen is the only child of Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen, who were involved in an eight-year romantic relationship between 1995 and 2003.
The couple first met while they were both a part of a touring production of The Seagull in 1995.
Beckinsale gave birth to Lily in 1999 in London.
