Bachelorette fans freak out after Channel Ten features another ‘creepy’ ventriloquist doll

Bachelorette fans were freaking out after Channel Ten featured another ‘creepy’ puppet during Wednesday’s episode.

The ventriloquist doll reared its animated head during a theatrical group date to impress sisters Elly, 26, and Becky Miles, 30, and even suitor Andrew Thomas, 30, labelled it ‘terrifying’ 

‘I swear when I was sitting there it looked at me straight in the eyes,’ he confessed as the camera zoomed into the puppet’s face. 

Fans on Twitter were also left reeling from the doll’s appearance, with some labelling it as ‘the stuff of nightmares’

‘Why does Channel 10 keep giving us creepy puppets,’ commented one viewer.  

Before another added: ‘Is that Puppet the spawn of Puppet from Masked Singer?’ 

‘It was a sentiment that was shared by many more. ‘Nice to see them reusing Masked Singer props,’ said another.  

‘OMG. It’s The Masked Singer Puppet,’ echoed a third viewer. 

Meanwhile, another jokester couldn’t help but stick the boot in. ‘The puppet has more personality than the men,’ they wrote. 

During Wednesday night’s talent show, the spooky doll ended up with Sam Vescio, 35, who made it wave to Becky before going into song.  

‘With a beautiful tinkle in her eye. Oh, you make me sigh. The way you make that triangle ding. You also make my heart sing,’ it said during the performance. 

While Becky appeared to be impressed by his efforts, Twitter users were left asking The Masked Singer to ‘take the puppet back please’.

The most recent season of The Masked Singer Australia also featured a Puppet. 

It was revealed to be performer Simon Pryce, also known as the Red Wiggle.
