Apple will unwrap the new iPhone in just a few hours during its online event ‘Hi, Speed’ and leaks of what the smartphone could look like have surfaced.
The launch, which is set for 1pm ET, is set to unveil four models of the flagship handset, ranging in price from $699 to $1,099.
Notably smartphone leaker, Evan Blass, released renders of the devices, showing the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Although the render are of only the fronts and backs, they do confirm several details that have been rumored about the smartphones.
The images show a new blue color that is set for the higher-end devices, along with a look at the new LIDAR sensor.
Although Apple has yet to reveal details of the iPhone 12, it is speculated that it will cost $799 and be available for pre-order on either October 6 or 7.

The next iPhone has been a big topic this year, as coronavirus lockdowns caused disruptions to Apple’s global supply chain that caused a number of delays for the tech giant.
Last month, Apple had confirmed that iOS users would not see the new device until October – but that time has finally come.
The Apple Store online is down, which means the tech giant is gearing up to launch the new iPhones and add them to the site.
Rumors have suggested that the biggest upgrade to the iPhone this year will be 5G cellular connectivity, which is a new feature for all of the devices.

All four of the devices are also said to boast round edges that give way to more straight lines for a ‘whole new look’, while the phones could be getting even thinner – similar to the design of the iPad.
The iPhone 12 Pro models are also expected to have other AR functions building on its Memoji avatar capability, which allows users to create animated versions of themselves from within the Messages app, according to LetsGoDigital.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max are said to be only 7.4mm, almost 10 percent thinner than the 8.1mm-thick iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Face ID will receive a hardware upgrade, however, so faces will be recognized even faster, the report says.
All the iPhone 12 models will be equipped with an A14 Bionic chip processor and come with OLED displays.
They will be offered in four colors – Silver, Space Grey, Midnight Green and a new ‘Navy Blue’.

The iPhone 12 is also set to get a camera update that is three times more powerful than its predecessors.
The smartphone is set to have a 30x zoom camera that is capable of focusing in on objects and people three times farther than previous models.
The iPhone 12 Mini is said to be available for pre-orders on November 6 or 7 and the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will start at $799 and be available to pre-order on October 16 or 17, with release on October 23 or 24.
Both models are said to come with storage options ranging from 64 gigabytes to 256GB.
The iPhone 12 Pro, which is set with a price tag of $999, will include a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and a LIDAR sensor for depth tracking.
This smartphone will be available for pre-order beginning on either October 16 or 17, with a release date of October 23 or 24.
