AFL star Jimmy Bartel’s girlfriend reveals the pair are taking their relationship to the next level

They have been inseparable since debuting their romance just over a year ago.

Jimmy Bartel, 36, and Lauren Mand, 31, are regularly seen eating, playing and exercising together, and are notorious for displaying their affection for one another online. 

And on Tuesday, the couple appear to be taking their relationship to the next level by working from home together, too.

Lauren shared a picture of her beau sitting alongside her in an office space at their home in Melbourne. 

The retired AFL player and Brownlow Medallist was captured deeply immersed in the work before him alongside his socialite girlfriend.

‘Working from home has it’s perks!’ Lauren wrote. ‘Distractions (wanted).’ 

It follows the couple celebrating ‘three hundred and sixty five days’ together, with a The Simpson’s inspired caricature of the pair embracing each other on the cartoon family’s couch.

‘Thanks @turnedyellow for the artwork,’ Lauren captioned the post celebrating their first anniversary. ‘It’s going straight to the pool room.’  

Jimmy and Lauren recently brought in a new addition to their family. 

On October 4, Lauren shared an Instagram Stories post showing Jimmy taking their puppy Kensi for her first walk.  

Jimmy is pictured from the waist down, with the white fluff ball happily trotting along beside her human daddy.   

Lauren captioned the photo: ‘First time on a lead and she is pretty proud of herself. We have a poser!’ 

She introduced the cute pooch two weeks prior with a sweet Instagram post.  

Lauren also revealed the pup is a Groodle, also known as a Goldendoodle – a hybrid of a golden retriever and a poodle.   

Jimmy and Lauren were first pictured as a couple in August 2019 after the AFL star announced his separation from wife Nadia Bartel.  

Nadia and Jimmy share custody of two children, sons Aston, four, and Henley, one.
