Outraged viewers of The Block suggest show is RIGGED

‘What a joke!’ Outraged viewers of The Block suggest the show is RIGGED after favourites Jimmy and Tam still score high despite NOT including a table in their dining room

Viewers of The Block are up in arms, even suggesting that the show is rigged.

On Sunday’s episode, favourites Jimmy and Tam still scored high from the judges, despite choosing not to include a dining table in their living and dining room.

After Shaynna Blaze awarded the couple seven-and-a-half out of 10, and Darren Palmer and Neale Whitaker 7 points respectively, one furious viewer said it was ‘a joke’.

‘Jimmy and Tam getting 7’s for doing half the job, it’s living and DINING, not just living. That’s a joke,’ they posted on Twitter.

Another followed with: ‘Jimmy and Tam getting 7’s out of ten prove the judges’ ratings mean nothing, and are rigged to sell the houses at the end.’

One also wrote: ‘The judges said Jimmy and Tam’s room was a fail… they know 7/10 is not a fail right? They shouldn’t have scored higher than a 5/10 when they only delivered half of the challenge.’

Having not delivered a practical and functional living and dining area, one viewer also asked why the judges hardly ever ‘give scores below five anymore’.

Jimmy and Tam’s scores are surprising considering judge Neal’s harsh appraisal of their 1950’s themed living and dining room.

Upon discovering they had gone without a dining table, the design guru described the space as a ‘complete fail’ with all the ‘problems’ that need to be fixed.

While Neale immediately praised Jimmy and Tam for their choice of lamp and storage cabinet, he quickly found fault in just how ‘compact’ the space felt.

For a family home that boasts a kitchen for entertaining and multiple bedrooms, he thought it was a major problem to not include a dining table.

Darren agreed, calling it a ‘massive, massive misstep’, while Shaynna simply asked, ‘What were they thinking?’

‘This is not adequate for a house of this size and this value, it’s really not,’ Neale went on to say. ‘Ever since we walked into this room, all we’ve done is fix problems.

‘That’s all we’ve done is fix problems, so this room is a complete fail.’

The Block continues tonight at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
