Frustrated toddler throws tantrum as she quits classic game of Operation

A ‘bossy’ toddler became fed up at the classic board game of Operation that she received as a present for her birthday. 

Three-year-old Emma, from Fulham in London quit the game when she couldn’t remove items using the tweezers without the nose lighting up.

A hilarious video shows the tot getting angry at the toy, telling it to stop buzzing it’s nose.

The footage shows Emma leaning over the table holding the ‘operating’ tweezers attempting to lift pieces out of the cardboard ‘patient’.

However, she cannot reach the pieces without the ‘patient’s’ nose lighting up and a buzzer going off – meaning she has failed. 

After a few attempts, the frustrated toddler throws the tweezers away and declares: ‘I can’t do it.’

Her father attempts to demonstrate the game for her but she protests, saying: ‘It’s very hard.’

Eventually she is persuaded to pick up the tweezers again but she still can’t complete the task without setting off the buzzer.

‘Hey! Stop it. Stop wiggling your nose,’ she tells the toy, as her parents laugh in the background.

Finally the frustrated tot has had enough and turns her back on the board game in a huff and refuses to play with it.

Emma’s father, Christopher, said: ‘When l encouraged her to persevere, she becomes rather bossy and frustrated! Like her Daddy.

‘She tried several times, perhaps ten in all. She did indeed remove most of the parts in the end!’ 

Christopher said he purchased the game of Operation as a surprise for his daughter, in memory of his own childhood.   

The funny clip was recorded in the family’s London home on October 11.
