EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy’s daughter Joanie has broken her arm and undergone surgery.
The soap actress, 37, praised the ‘absolutely incredible’ NHS as she revealed her youngest child, four, was treated at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex on Friday.
Natalie encouraged others to go to hospital if they are in need, despite hesitance amid the pandemic – and thanked medical professionals for looking after little Joanie in ‘every way possible.’

Natalie shared an image wearing a face mask as she cuddled up to her adorable daughter, who wore an arm support.
She captioned the image: ‘I just wanted to thank all the staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital for looking after my little girl these last two days.
‘She’s broken her arm and had to have a little operation to fix it. Every member of staff were absolutely incredible and looked after Joanie and me in every way possible.

Natalie welcomed Joanie in 2016 with her fiancé, Marc Humphreys, and has an older daughter, Eliza, 10, with her ex-partner, Adam Cottrell,.
Earlier this week, the mother-of-two, posted a rare photo on the sofa next to her cameraman love and called him her ‘soulmate’.
She wrote about her fiancé on Monday: ‘It doesn’t really matter what’s going on as long as we have each other. And yes. My nose is rather large. @camera_marc #soulmates #laughteristhebestmedicine #kidsareinbed #peaceatlast.’
Marc is a cameraman on EastEnders and the couple have been an item since 2014, getting engaged in October the following year.
He has worked on several television shows including Coronation Street, BBC Proms and ITV Racing on ITV Sport.
