Stokes, who has a two-year-old son with Miss Scott, is alleged to have breached orders not to contact Miss Scott or her mother between November and December last year.

Prosecutors also claim that he breached a ruling keeping him from Miss Scott for four years by sending her an email message in March this year.

The charges also state that he allegedly broke bail conditions and the terms of a non-harassment order which he was handed last September.

Stokes, from Glasgow, was not present when his case called at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.
