The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert shares a touching tribute to Irena Srbinovska

He’s been enjoying a romantic trip in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, with Irena Srbinovska.

And on Friday, Locky Gilbert shared a touching tribute to his girlfriend as they spent quality time together.

The 31-year-old shared a photo to Instagram of himself cosying up to Irena, 31 during their trip and wrote: ‘How did I get so lucky?’

In the picture, Locky wrapped his arms around the nurse while they looked out into the distance.

Locky’s post comes after the former Bachelor took a subtle swipe at some of the fame-hungry bachelorettes from his season – including runners-up Bella Varelis and Bec Cvilikas – in an eyebrow-raising Instagram post.

On Tuesday, he shared a photo from his ‘secret’ camping trip in the Hunter Valley with Irena, and couldn’t resist making a sly reference to some of the contestants who have flocked to paparazzi hotspot Bondi Beach recently.

‘We have to have some secrets,’ he responded to a Daily Mail journalist in the comments section.

‘We’re not too keen on the whole Bondi vibe. Give us the mountains any day,’ he added, alongside a crying-with-laughter emoji. 

Interestingly, both Bella and Bec live together in an apartment in Bondi Beach. 

Earlier this week, Irena also raised eyebrows when she said that she didn’t care about being verified on Instagram like Bella and Bec.

‘I’m not about being an influencer, just about being real,’ the 31-year-old nurse told Daily Mail Australia after being asked why her account wasn’t verified yet.

Irena also clarified that she hadn’t received a blue tick yet for one simple reason. ‘I haven’t even applied for it,’ she said. ‘I don’t really care about it.’
