Chip and Stormzy embroiled in very public feud

Chip slams ‘disrespectful’ Stormzy and shares video showing the musician ‘turning up at his house after the pair hit out at one another on diss tracks’

Rapper Chip, formerly Chipmunk and Shut Up hitmaker Stormzy are embroiled in a very public feud. 

According to Metro, on Wednesday, Chip, 29, shared a now-deleted video which he claims shows Stormzy and three of his friends on CCTV turning up at his house. 

He wrote: ‘June… When you get sent a video of Stormzy & friends tryna run up on your house.’

It’s claimed Stormzy, 27, says: ‘Telephone me, innit.’ 

A voice then tells him: ‘You think you can just pull up to people’s houses? No I ain’t gonna phone you, Stormzy. You’re disrespectful bro, and that’s that.’  

It’s unknown if the feud is real or just a marketing ploy and MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for both Stormy and Chip for comment.

Chip rapped: ‘You ain’t even done ten years in this ting. Round here we don’t hear you’re a king, man will take your throne.’ 

His words come after Stormzy called himself the king of grime in his Wiley diss track, Still Disappointed.

Stormzy then rapped on Tion Wayne’s new track I Dunno: ‘Is he sending for me? I dunno. What them boy there sell first week? I dunno.’

Whatever the case, fans of both acts have been taking to Twitter in their droves to comment on the supposed feud and share memes. 

They wrote: ‘I want to see how stormzy handles this one because chip is NO JOKE on the mic and I don’t want to hear I got more money than you blah blah. Bring me bars.’

‘Musically Stormzy CAN NOT chat to chip. Anyone that thinks different has only been listening to grime since 2017.’

‘Looks like Chip and Stormzy have come to save 2020 and we’ll end the year watching them beef….. Decent, decent indeed.’

‘But I know Chip is gonna do that thing again when he acts like people start on him for no reason when really he’s been trying to draw out Stormzy for a couple of years.’
