He’s the quirky Bachelorette star who was booted out of the mansion by Elly and Becky Miles during Wednesday night’s premiere. 

But unearthed social media photos of Samuel Minkin show that the hunky 27-year-old had so much more to offer than just his bizarre dolphin impressions.

Despite his geeky exterior on the show, Sam’s Instagram page reveals that he’s actually buff-bodied surfer, who loves to travel, attend festivals and get tattoos.

Looking worlds away from his appearance on the show, the muscle therapist regularly posts photos of himself showing off his abs and muscular arms at the beach and gym.  

His Instagram also reveals him as a lover of dogs and the the founder of a meditation practice.

Speaking about his early departure from the show, Samuel told Channel 10: ‘It was a bit of a disappointment to not have the opportunity to actually show either of the girls who I am.

‘I’m a very unique person. I’m fun-loving, highly intelligent, and also caring.’

He continued: ‘It would have been really nice for me to be able to display those qualities and also get a deeper connection with the girls.

‘If I had made it to one group date? All the way to the end. Boom. I’ve got a sick personality, I reckon I would have had a good opportunity to go further if I had an opportunity to really bounce off the girls as well.’

Sam was not given a rose in the first ceremony by either Becky or Elly, meaning he had to depart the mansion on the very first night.

Nick Chamberlain was also booted off the show at the same time, after failing to make a big impression on the stunning siblings.

On the same night and in the most awkward Bachelorette twist to date, Ab Sow told Becky he couldn’t accept his rose because he ‘wasn’t feeling it’.

‘Becky, I’m really sorry. You’re absolutely beautiful and unfortunately, I cannot accept this rose,’ the 27-year-old filmmaker told the visibly upset Bachelorette.

His decision to walk away from the blonde beauty left the other suitors stunned and confused, calling the moment an ‘absolute bombshell’.
