‘I’m pretty sure she went on The Bachelor to get The Bachelorette’: Rachael Arahill takes a swipe at former co-star Elly Miles
Rachael Arahill has taken a swipe at her former The Bachelor co-star Elly Miles, who along with her sister Becky Miles, is the new Bachelorette.
In an episode of the So Dramatic! podcast, Rachael, 25, says that she believes Elly, 26, appeared on Matt Agnew’s season in order to score a slot on The Bachelorette.
‘I was not surprised at all because I know she wanted it. I’m pretty sure she went on The Bachelor to get The Bachelorette,’ Rachael said.

She went on to claim that the night Elly was eliminated from The Bachelor, Elly said a Network Ten publicist told her that she ‘won’t ever be able to get Bachelorette’ if she did not appear on Bachelor in Paradise.
‘You have to do your time in paradise before you get Bachelorette, but she didn’t do Paradise,’ Rachael added.

It comes after a dramatic turn of events for Bachelorette sisters Becky and Elly.

On Tuesday, Becky dropped the bombshell that she’s not in love with her chosen gentleman during an interview on the Life Uncut podcast.
While her sister Elly, 26, admitted she was ‘the most smitten she’s ever been’ with her new man, Becky, 30, responded: ‘I would’t say love! But I’m definitely in a happy place, so.
‘I feel like the road to love is a bit of a journey right? And I just want that time on the outside to just get to know my person, and have fun and just do real life.’

It’s quite the U-turn for Becky, as last week Elly claimed both ladies were very much ‘in love’ and happy with their new found romance.
‘Yes we have [both found love]. I’m so happy right now for myself and for Bec. Her guy is the best, I love him – for her,’ she told Who Magazine.
Elly added that she’d hoped her sister would find someone on the show after going though ‘a lot of hardship’ in past relationships.
The Bachelorette premieres Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
