Mystery Lotto winners from Oldham who each scooped £1million on the same draw are STILL yet to claim their prizes

- Winners now have six months to come forward to claim their Lotto jackpots
Two mystery Lotto winners from Oldham who each scooped £1million on the same draw are still yet to claim their prizes.
Camelot, which operates the National Lottery, confirmed more than a week ago that it had received claims on two Lotto prizes from a draw on August 8.
The wins are both worth £1million and the tickets were bought in Oldham, Greater Manchester, which was placed under stricter Covid-19 restrictions in August amid a rising number of infections.

Camelot’s Andy Carter said at the time: ‘This is incredible news – one day, one town and an incredible two £1m Lotto prizes that have now been claimed.’
He said it had brought ‘a little bit of cheer to the area’ after households were banned from socialising either inside or outside, both in private and public spaces and hospitality venues.
However, a Camelot spokeswoman confirmed today that the cash has not been paid out and remains on their ‘unclaimed prize list’.

She said: ‘The prizes listed on that page have either not been claimed, or have not yet been validated and paid.’
Both tickets matched five balls and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw with the winning numbers 2, 40, 49, 53, 56, 58 and the bonus ball 41.
The winners have six months to come forward to claim the jackpots.
