Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi reveals the BRUTAL comment she keeps reading about herself online since launching the couple’s podcast

Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi has revealed she’s become the target of cruel online taunts.

Appearing on Monday’s episode of their controversial It’s All True? podcast, Chezzi, 40, shared the most offensive thing she’s read about herself online – that she could easily pass as her 43-year-old husband’s mother.

‘I’ve always taken the p**s out of it, so I think that’s why they keep using [this insult],’ she explained, adding: ‘Somebody keeps saying, ‘Does anyone think she looks old enough to be Grant’s mum?”

After a brief pause, Grant conceded: ‘That is rough.’

‘But you look way younger than me!’ he quickly exclaimed, prompting Chezzi to insist: ‘But I look terrible in photos, let’s face it.’

‘Like remember when we went to that Christmas party one year?’ Chezzi continued.

‘That woman came up to us and she was like, ‘Oh, is this your wife? Gee, they must do a lot of Photoshopping with your photos in magazines,’ she added.

Recalling the incident, Grant agreed that the stranger’s comments were indeed out of line, describing the jibe as ‘a d**k thing to say’.

‘I think she was saying it in her head, but it was coming out her mouth,’ Chezzi agreed.

It’s not the first time Chezzi has spoken about being subjected to cruel comments from strangers.

Just last month, Chezzi, who is pregnant, shared examples of the kinds of rude remarks she’s received about her decision to have a child at 40.

She wrote: ‘I am 40 years old and having a baby… I live in country NSW and get comments like… ‘Why would you at your age?’ ‘Was it an accident?’ ‘Are you worried something will be wrong with the baby?”

A former schoolmate had even told her: ‘I went to school with you, and my second grandchild is due the same month as you!’
