Jokester Seth Rogen is a fan of healthy competition, even if it is on his wedding night.
On Friday, the 38-year-old took to Instagram to wish his bride of nine years, Lauren, who is also 38, a happy anniversary as he posted a throwback snap of the pair playing video games at their wedding.
‘Happy anniversary to us!! I can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough to find the perfect partner to go through life with,’ he said. ‘After 9 years married and over 15 years together, I love you more every day. Here’s me beating her at video games at our wedding.’

In the playful snap, Seth and his actress-writer wife sit in their formal wedding attire as they played a round of Hydro Thunder.
With a sea of onlooking guests, the pair seemed to really get into the youthful spirit as they enjoyed the unconventional addition to their wedding reception.
Seth looked at ease as he seemed to school his wife in the video game, as Lauren was photographed making a playfully tense face.
The For A Good Time Call actress and writer, had no qualms about ruining her bedazzled wedding dress as she got down and dirty for some friendly competition.

The couple first met in 2004 after being set up by a mutual friend. His producer buddy, Will, was dating a girl who had a friend – Lauren – that he thought Seth may like.
The two shared an unofficial first date at a birthday party, where they ate grilled cheese at four am and played Spanish Scrabble until the sun came up, with Seth describing it as ‘love at first sight.
In 2013 Lauren spoke to Us Weekly about their actual first date, which had a hilariously similar vibe that seems very on brand for the funny couple.
‘Even our first date was exciting,’ she shared.
‘We played mini golf and then got into a hit and run accident on the freeway. When I got out of the car I hugged him, I needed to hold on to something’ she tenderly said, shedding positive light on the dramatic first date.

The jovial nature of their relationship continues to be apparent, even as Seth shared the events of his 2010 proposal, which seemed something out of one of his movies.
Speaking to Conan O’Brien, Rogen hilariously shared: ‘She was in our closet changing, and she was literally only in her underpants, and her boobs were out. I’d already kind of started, and I was like ‘Oh man, her boobs are out! That’s not part of the plan!’
He laughingly continued, ‘I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this. No little girl is like, ‘It’ll happen in a closet with my t**s out’ as he continued to share that he thought the ‘appropriate thing was to place the ring on her nipple’ at that moment.
A humorist like her husband, the pair have worked together on various projects with Lauren making appearances in Superbad and Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
Lauren credits the fact that Seth was not famous at the time of their meeting, as the secret to their fifteen year relationship.

In addition to acting together, the pair started HFC, formerly Hilarity for Charity, which brings awareness around Alzheimer’s after her mother was diagnosed.
Seth shared that Lauren’s struggle with her mother forced him to be a lot more ’emotionally available’ than he normally would.
The pair do not have any children at this point in time but they do share a dog, Zelda.
