Home Improvement stars Tim Allen and Richard Karn have given fans a behind-the-scenes look of their upcoming competition series, Assembly Required.
The sneak peeks were posted Thursday on Twitter, and included a snap of the studio brimming with power tools.
‘Richard Karn and I begin our new History Channel gig “Assembly Required” to celebrate and challenge all the folks who engage, fix and create,’ Allen, 67, tweeted on Thursday.

Karn, 64, also took to social media with a sweet snap of himself with one arm extended around his longtime pal, who donned a flannel and smiled at the camera.
‘First day of shooting… this show is going to be amazing!!’ the former Family Feud host captioned the shot, which garnered nearly 20,000 likes in just minutes.
The duo, who previously hosted the fictional television show Tool Time in 1990s’ hit sitcom Home Improvement, first announced they had teamed up for a reality competition building series last month.

The ten-part series is set to highlight the best and brightest builders from across the US as they compete against one another in an attempt to breathe new life into everyday household items in need of fixing.
Allen will not only be starring in, but is also set to serve as an executive producer on the non-scripted program.
As the show will be on the History channel, he and Karn will also cover the origins around the items as they will honor the men and women who had originally crafted them in addition to the techniques used.

Of the project Allen said: ‘We’re living in a throwaway society. We buy, break, replace… rinse and repeat. Whatever happened to repair and rebuild?
‘There are some people who unfriend, unfollow and dispose of anything that offends, annoys or breaks so I’ve created a show to remind people of the satisfaction and pride that comes from rebuilding something on their own. And who better to join me than my buddy from the old Tool Time days – Richard Karn.’
Allen played Tim ‘The Toolman’ Taylor while Karn portrayed Al Borland on the fictional Tool Time show throughout Home Improvement’s entire run over eight seasons from 1991 to 1999.
Buds: Assembly Required won’t be the first time the two stars have reunited as Karn starred as Bill McKendree in two episodes of Last Man Standing in 2013 (seen in June 2017)
The show followed the daily trials and tribulations of Taylor who hosted a television show while raising three mischievous boys.
Tim went on to star on sitcom Last Man Standing in 2011 which was renewed in May for a ninth season.
Assembly Required won’t be the first time the two stars have reunited as Karn starred as Bill McKendree in two episodes of Last Man Standing in 2013.
